Bác sĩ Psaltis là Trưởng Khoa Phẫu thuật Tai mũi họng tại Bệnh viện Queen Elizabeth, Nam Úc. Ông cũng là Phó giáo sư tại Trường Y, Khoa Phẫu thuật tại Đại học Adelaide.

Bác sĩ Psaltis là một bác sĩ tai mũi họng, Bác sĩ phẫu thuật nội soi sọ sọ với một loạt kinh nghiệm trong ngành y tế. Ông đã đóng góp và là tác giả của hơn 80 ấn phẩm được đánh giá ngang hàng và là một nhà phê bình tạp chí.
