Golden Life Medical (GLM) is an Australian medical company, pioneering in the field of medical services such as teaching and education, consulting and second opinion services being provided online when feasible. Our vision is to provide the Vietnamese people with access to world-leading medical services and advice at an affordable cost.

GLM's Honorary Chairman, Associate Professor Robert Parkyn, has many years of experience in teaching and training in Endocrine Surgery and Diseases of the Breast in Africa and Asia in particular. In Vietnam his contributions in teaching and training in Hue and Hanoi was through the INTEREST program, a voluntary outreach service provided by the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons.

Under Associate Professor Parkyn’s guidance, GLM forms a network that connects specialists and leading Australian health care organisations in teaching and educating, consulting and treatment plans. During Covid 19, to improve the quality of community health services in Vietnam at a reasonable cost, these services will be provided online.

Australia's health care model is recognised as one of the best in the world. New York based health care researches - The Commonwealth Fund studied 11 of the developed world's different national health care models. Overall, Australia was one of the highest performers, finishing first in health outcomes and efficiency. The US came last in the overall and health outcome category.

Sweden ranked second, Norway third, Switzerland fourth, France fifth, South Korea sixth, New Zealand seventh, Germany eighth, then Canada, Great Britain and 11th USA.
